He Corrects



Receive the counsel of the Lord
For therein is life

In his rebuke
There is safety
In his correction
There is security

He does not reproof out of anger
He disciplines out of love

He knows our frame
How fallible we are
Weak and without strength

He understands our weaknesses
He has walked in this body before

However, he reproves us
To help us from dieing
He sends out his counsel
So that
We are not destroyed

His faithfulness
Is Constant
They are new every morning

Even when we are chastised
His loving kindness
Is ever sure

Take heed, Beloved!

The Lord corrects those who he loves, to prevent them from falling off. Do not despise his rebuke.

    This is amazing. God chastises us because He loves us and corrects us always until everything in us is in obedience to God. This love of the creator to His creation can not be overemphasized. Thanks for sharing. I'm super blessed.

So, I watched the movie; The Train on Sunday and I was all shades of reactions, from ahhing to wowing. At some points I prayed, laughed, spoke to the person beside me and had deep thoughts within myself. The movie chronicles the real life story of Evangelist Mike Bamiloye, and it is a movie indeed for the season. Anybody who truly wants to know the definition of Purpose, must watch it. IF HE DID IT BEFORE

I thought I would be broken if I got the news I just got, but funny enough, I am not. I have been thanking God, praising Him for what happened, singing songs to glorify Him. A particular song has been on replay ever since I heard the news "Thank you for being God" by Travis Greene. I cried when I heard but  I am not sad neither am I depressed, I see this as one of those fire I must walk through to be tested in order to come out purified, I see God using this to make me become stronger, I see greater testimonies on the way, I see the situation as God's way of making my future testimony sweeter. I see the story as one that would help me reach out to other people in the future who may be in the same situation. I see God turning the situation for my good; my friend sent a voice note about God working everything for my good. I don't see the failure, I see a stepping stone to success, I see God saying: you are coming out stronger and better. God is indeed good, as I paused

PLEASE OBEY

I remember the night I finally broke the relationship, I cried. I cried so much that I did not want to stop, my eyes were shot red and I almost got an headache. I was bitter, I asked why it couldn't be him, I was angry, I was sorry I had hurt him. I asked God to let it be him but I just could not disobey because I already heard the voice warning me about remaining in the relationship; but I still loved him (I thought). But one day as I thought about him God said something that I would never forget: If you are with him, you would never find your purpose, you would not discover me nor your place in my kingdom, you would be limited and just live ordinarily. There are some company we keep in life that will limit our destiny.
