Godfidence

Have you seen a little child who is on the verge of slipping, and on getting hold of the mother's wrapper clutches to it? There is a way the child clings to the mother, to show the trust and confidence he or she has in her(the mother).  That should be the same way we rely on, lean on, trust in, confide in and cleave unto God. Trusting in the Lord does not have to be when we are comfortable. In fact, tough situations that we encounter are what really proves whether we trust in the Lord or not. At times, we would encounter some things and our faith is so weakened that we begin to wonder if there is a God in heaven. Life may become harsh, people may seem unfair and unkind, we may be mocked and challenged just like King Hezekiah. However, as children of God, there is a security that comes with trusting God. Even when life seems rude, there is this confidence we have, that makes us stand firm just like David in front of Goliath. 2 Kings 18:5-7  He trusted in the LORD God of Israel; so
